Sentimeter of Nusa Putra Sukabumi University, a Forum for Researchers Presenting Thoughts

SUKABUMI – Informatics Engineering Study Program, Nusa Putra University (UNP) Sukabumi is again holding a national seminar on information technology, mechatronics and computer science (Centimeters) 2023 which will be held online and offline at UNP on Saturday (4/3/2023).

Carrying the theme “The Power of Data Analytics in the Modern World and Industry”, this seminar presented three speakers, namely the Chairperson of the Association for Higher Education in Informatics and Computers (APTIKOM) Prof. Achmad Benny Mutiara, Lecturer in S2 Informatics Engineering UNIKOM Irfan Dwiguna Sumitra and Ministry of Defense Staff Adji Kusuma.

Secretary of Informatics Engineering Study Program, Nusa Putra University, Ivana Lucia Kharisma said, Centimeter is a routine agenda that is held every year and this time it will be the 2nd centimeter activity.

“This activity is a forum to provide insight to students by presenting speakers who are competent in their fields,” he explained to Radar Sukabumi, Wednesday (15/3).

Still said Ivana, Centimeter is also a place for researchers, both students and practitioners and community and industry activists to be able to present the results of their thoughts and research.

This activity was attended by all Informatics Engineering students at Nusa Putra University, and is open to the general public who can participate offline through the zoom meeting application.

Meanwhile, according to the theme of the seminar, namely The Power of Data Analytics in The Modern World & Industry, the material presented focused more on the extent of the development of Big Data and Data Analytic, as well as the fields of big data, computer security, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things. , software engineering, computer networks, information technology, and data mining.

“The hope is that this activity can be held again next year live or face to face, as well as more participants, especially for speakers and participants as well as producing higher quality publications,” he concluded. (wdy)
